Heinze moving to Liverpool....

Gabriel Heinze has been told by his boss Sir Alex Ferguson that a move to Liverpool is unlikely.

Ferguson obviously sees Liverpool as a major threat to the Premiership title this season and he is against bolstering their squad with the quality of the Argentina International.

Heinze told the Daily mail that he wants a swift resolution to the saga and that he has fulfilled his duties by returning for training.

The only way that a transfer will occur is if Juventus come in with a firm offer for the versatile defender who was rated as one of the best premiership performers last season.

One question still lies open and that is of Heinze's ambition to win, why leave the premiership champions and possibly favourites for Champions League success to join a team that will struggle again this season to finish in the top 3 of the premiership!
